(Columbus) - Senator Seth Harp (R-Midland) welcomed the endorsement of the former Mayor of Peachtree City, and until a few weeks ago, candidate for Insurance Commissioner, Harold Logsdon. Mayor Logsdon dropped out of the race after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
“I am very thrilled and privileged to have so many great people throughout Georgia endorse my candidacy and support my campaign,” Sen. Harp stated. “Over the next few months we will continue to aggressively campaign throughout this state and deliver a message of an Insurance Commissioner who promises to put the taxpayers of Georgia first and give you what you deserve: an Insurance Commissioner you can depend on.”

(Atlanta) – Senator Seth Harp (R-Midland) officially qualified to run in
the Republican Primary for Georgia’s Insurance Commissioner and
announced a broad-based Statewide Steering Committee composed of
community, industry and political leaders from throughout Georgia.

(WSB Radio State Capitol Bureau)—A Republican state senator is pushing a measure that would allow Georgians to vote on a constitutional amendment to opt out of any federally mandated health care plan. Sen. Seth Harp (R-Midland) says the amendment would be placed on November’s ballot.

The Georgia Young Republicans, whose convention was held immediately following the Georgia Republican Party Convention, conducted a straw poll to gage the support the announced candidates have amoung Georgia’s young professionals
Senator Seth Harp, District 29, will be the featured speaker at the Fayette County Republican Party’s 1st Saturday Breakfast.
Today the Georgia State Senate voted for a true stimulus package with the passage of the Jobs, Opportunity, and Business Success Act of 2009 (JOBS Act). Sen. Seth Harp (R-Midland) supported the bill.
